Spirited Award Winners 2017

Every year at the annual cocktail industry gathering that is Tales of the Cocktail, the leading lights of the industry come together to celebrate those who have achieved the most in the past 12 months. As one of the judges of the international and global awards it’s a great honour and responsibility to sit down and chose just a few that have excelled and pushed the industry forward from a multitude of worthy candidates.

Any body, venue or product can be nominated and the judges are sent a list of all the nominees and are asked to select their top 5 in descending order for each category.

Do I agree with all the winners? No, but that’s the point. The awards are the collective opinion of the entire judging panel and not that of just one person.

Congratulations to all the very deserving winners and thank you for continuing to push boundaries, set new standards and make the bar industry an incredible place to work.
